Fellow Dems, Independents, and R-Allies,
As announced previously–we will conduct our biennial county party reorganization on Thursday, March 20, at 6:00 p.m. at the Senior Citizens Center in Greybull.
We are tasked with electing a Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, State Committeeman, and State Committeewoman at this meeting. Any registered Democrat in Big Horn County may be nominated for these positions.
I will accept and disseminate any valid nominations for these positions, including any statements from the nominee or candidate that are submitted to me, prior to that meeting. I will also be posting this information in the Greybull, Lovell, and Basin papers for the next three weeks.
If you have questions about what is involved in any of these positions, or about the process, please let me know.
According to the most recent list I received from the county clerk, there are over 100 MORE registered Dems (322 vs. 209) in BHC in 2025 than there were in 2023 when I assumed the chair position. We will be doing our best to reach out to as many of those folks as we can, especially in under/unrepresented precincts (Hyattville, Manderson, Burlington, Otto, Emblem, Cowley, Deaver, Frannie, Lovell). If you would like to help, please let me know, and if you know someone who shares our perspective and passion on issues, please include them, regardless of their registration.
